Terry Rondberg

Dr. Terry Rondberg is a leading figure in alternative healthcare. He created and continues to publish The Chiropractic Journal, a monthly journal with a circulation of 70,000 (a number which does not include visitors to the journal's online home). More recently, in 1998, Dr. Rondberg created The Journal of Vertebral Subluxation Research (JVSR), a peer-reviewed scientific journal expressly dedicated to chiropractic research, featuring material contributed by doctors of chiropractic, including articles, editorials, commentary, and case studies. He is also the CEO of World Chiropractoric Alliance, a non-governmental organization that dedicates itself to protecting and strengthening the chiropractic profession around the world. Today, it remains chiropractic's only professional and consumer “watchdog” organization. Dr. Terry Rondberg is also the founder and CEO of Chiropractic Benefit Services (CBS) Malpractice Insurance Program, which provides an alternative to the more conventional, medically-oriented policies.

On top of all this, Terry Rondberg has published books for chiropractic practitioners and professionals as well as the public, including Chiropractic First, The Fastest Growing Healthcare Choice Before Drugs or Surgery, Under The Influence of Modern Medicine, Chiropractic: Compassion and Expectation, and CBS Malpractice Prevention. Because of his commitment to chiropractic-and the efforts he has made toward the continued enhancement and development of the chiropractic profession-Dr. Terry Rondberg has had the honor of receiving numerous awards. In the past, he has received the prestigious “Sterling Pruitt Humanitarian Award,” which is given by the Chiropractic Society of Texas (CST), to recognize an individual for his interest in public health and the well-being of others in the state of Texas.

Dr. Rondberg also serves on the Department of Defense (DoD) Chiropractic Advisory Committee. The committee's mission is to establish the protocol for making chiropractic services readily available to the U.S. military personnel. In addition, he has served as a valuable member on the Council on Chiropractic Practice (CCP), which seeks to develop guidelines for enhancing the current chiropractic practice.

Dr. Rondberg lives in Rancho Santa Fe, where he enjoys karate (he has a black belt) and yoga.
